Q. Why am I getting a bill for lost books? The books aren't lost; I have them in my possession.

When a book is 30 days overdue it is eligible to be billed lost. We always search for a book in the stacks before it is billed. If library staff are unable to locate the book in the stacks, then it will be billed lost to your account.
