	To which library and collection the book belongs, as well as where it is on the shelf.
	To which library the book belongs, as well as its ISBN number.
	Where and when the book was published.
	To which library the book belongs, and the number you need to provide the library staff.

Using Advanced Search in the Library Catalog will:

	Search for materials in other libraries.
	Find your Course Reserve readings.
	Allow you to search for terms across multiple fields at one time.

After you conduct a search in the Library Catalog, you may narrow your results by:

	Clicking on a book’s call number.
	Saving selected materials to your account.
	Selecting a particular format, location, or subject-heading in the left index column.
	You can’t. You must start the search over.

Many instructors will require that you use scholarly sources.

Scholarly journals are often referred to as:

	Peer-reviewed or refereed journals.
	University-accepted journals.
	Consumer-approved journals.
	Ad-free publications.

Clicking on the SFX or “Find It” link in a database is a way to:

	Go to Google and search the Internet.
	See if the full-text of an article is available in another library database.
	Lose your entire search.
	Find other articles on a similar topic in the database.
