West Florida Historic Preservation, Inc. is a state agency committed to the preservation of buildings within the historical district as well as other historical treasures in Pensacola and a direct support organization of the University of West Florida.  The agency houses an extensive collection of historical material, including photographs, paintings, lithographs, broadsides, letters and documents, books, newspapers and other printed materials, political documents and items, weapons, hardware, farming equipment, household items, furniture, textiles and costumes, musical instruments, natural history specimens, maps, and military documents and items.
