One of the largest air and space museums in the world, the National Museum of Naval Aviation houses several extraordinary collections, including over 140 restored aircraft representing Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard Aviation, four of the Blue Angels’ A-4 Skyhawks along with files documenting the team’s history from their formation in 1946 to the present, memorabilia from each era of war, and the personal papers and photographs of various officers.  The museum serves to both preserve the history of Naval Aviation and educate those interested.

As of 20 March 2003, visitors to the Museum are being asked to use the west entrance to NAS Pensacola, at the end of Blue Angel Highway. For directions, please call (850) 453-2389 or (800) 327-5002. For information on what is open to visitors aboard NAS Pensacola as well as the National Museum of Naval Aviation, please call Base Public Affairs at (850) 452-2311.
