The software used to access Standard & Poor's Compustat data has been installed on computers in the SAIL Lab (Bldg. 79), the College of Business Lab and the Library. It is accessible from the Start Programs menu. Research Insight software is also available through the eDesktop (log into MyUWF). This is not an online database.
Standard & Poor's cumulates and publishes company financial and market data from stock exchanges (NYSE, AMEX, NASDAQ, OTC, and Canadian stock exchanges) in the Compustat database. Compustat provides extensive company coverage from 1950 to the present. Compustat is international in scope and represents 90% of the world's market. At UWF this data is accessed using Research Insight software.
