Books on mathematics and statistics may be identified in the Libraries' Online Catalog by using author, title, keyword, and subject searches. Circulating books on mathematics and statistics are primarily located on the third floor of the UWF Library under the following Library of Congress call numbers:

Dictionaries

The Cambridge Dictionary of Statistics. 1998. (Ref. QA 276.15 E84 1998) & FWB

This dictionary includes relatively brief definitions of statistical terms as well as short biographies of more than 100 important statisticians.

The Concise Oxford Dictionary of Mathematics. 1990. (Ref. QA 5 C53 1990)

Includes terms covering all specialties in mathematics - but excludes terms from statistics, computing and applied mathematics. See also A Dictionary of Mathematics (Ref. QA 5 G623 1984), and Dictionary of Mathematics Terms (Ref. QA 5 D69 1987).
