U.S. Government Documents
The University of West Florida Library is a depository for selected United
States and Florida Documents. Government documents and their locations in the
library are identified in the WebLUIS online catalog. The Documents
Department, located on the first floor of the library, contains a selected
number of microfiche, Electronic Media, and printed government publications. To
provide a wider accessibility to government information, many documents are being
published on the Internet, but historical documents largely remain in print or
microfiche versions only. This list attempts to identify some of the more
popular printed and electronic tools for researching topics relating to the U.S.
government. For official records relating to regulatory, statutory and
judicial law consult UWF Library ELi page Law, and for statistical government publications, consult: Statistics.
