The Map collection contains a wide variety of maps, including topographic, political, physical, historical, geological, census, CIA, flood, land use, aerial, U.S.G.S. and Army quadrangle, and nautical and aeronautical charts. The collection includes a selection of local, regional, U.S., foreign country, and world maps. It provides worldwide coverage with an emphasis on local, regional, and U.S. maps.
Maps of Florida and the South East, Gulf Coast Nautical Charts, and U.S.G.S. topographic maps are housed on the 1st floor, while maps of the world and foreign countries and East Coast Nautical Charts are located in the basement map room. Historical and rare maps are located in the University Archives and West Florida History Center. The Reference Atlas collection on the 2nd floor is divided into three sections based on size - regular, oversize, and folio atlases. Atlases can be identified by searching the Library Catalog. Pace library also provides two globes and several relief maps on the 1st floor.
