I. Introduction

Welcome to the UWF Libraries Basic Library Orientation. The purpose of this is to acquaint you with our collections and services.

When you have completed this orientation, you will be able to:

• Find library information such as hours, locations, and services.
• Search for books and materials in the UWF Library Catalog.
• Perform an advanced search in the UWF Library Catalog.
• Find a database and perform a basic search for articles.
• Search for and get to readings in Course Reserves.
• Use Subject Research Guides and Online Tutorials for assignments.

Note: The next section, Section II: Library Facts and Services, is recommended but not required. The remaining sections are required and must be taken to pass the Basic Library Orientation Quiz.
