Online Tutorials
Need some help with the research process? Check out the library’s Online Tutorials.
The library has developed a number of brief online tutorials to assist patrons with the research process and the ethical use of information. For example, we have tutorials addressing critical thinking, plagiarism, and the difference between scholarly journals and popular magazines.
Using the Online Tutorials
Tutorials are available through the Libraries' home page at the link "Online Tutorials". It will take you to a page listing the tutorials available.
We have six categories of Online Tutorial. For example, the tutorial "How to Read Call Numbers" provides an explanation of the Library of Congress Classification
System. Scroll through the tutorial, or use the menu bar on the left to navigate the page.
Each tutorial includes a definition and explanation of the topic, examples and related resources, and a short exercise to test what you learned.
