Library Orientation is a project of the UWF Libraries Reference and Automation Departments. Contact us at (850) 474-2424.

Instructional Objectives:

The goal of this project is to help students use the UWF Libraries with a focus on basic skills. We also want to make library orientation conveniently available to the broader UWF community by placing it online.

Faculty and instructors are welcomed to include this orientation or its sections as graded or for-credit assignments, or use it in their Desire 2Learn (D2L) course pages.

Content:

Library Orientation consists of an introduction and 5 sections that focus on areas of the libraries undergraduate students are most likely to use:

A self-grading online test is given at the end of "Library Services" where students have the option to print their results or e-mail them to themselves.

Library Orientation will take about an hour to complete.
